NRCWAY Youth Camp, July 25-29, at the James 4-H Camp

Please see the attached flyer/application for information about the Natural Resource Conservation Workshop for Arizona Youth (NRCWAY for short).
This is a week-long camp for kids entering grades 8-12 in the fall, and is at the James 4-H Camp between Prescott and Jerome (on Mingus Mountain).
The dates of the camp are July 25-29, 2016 and the cost is only $150.00 per student – WHAT A DEAL!!!

This camp is sponsored by the Arizona Section, Society for Range Management, U of A Cooperative Extension, and 4-H Youth Development.
The camp has a pond for fishing and swimming, a ball field, and other recreational amenities. Campers get to experience hands-on activities related to natural resources, and learn directly from professionals who are invited guests. The purpose of the camp is youth outreach, and to give them insight into a career in natural resources.

If you have, or know a kid that might be interested, please pass along this flyer to them.
The deadline for applications is May 1st so there is plenty of time!

Last year the camp didn’t occur, because not enough campers registered, so let’s get the word out this year.
